The History of Red

Early history

Red is the first nation to appear in RHcord WICSO that was lead by a set of oligarchs. Initially, the founding people of Red explored huge swaths of land with plans to expand into them when resources were more available. However concerns of raiding of over expansion forced oligarchs to slow down in expansionist philosophies and instead aim towards an explorative mindset. There were also talks about purging untrustworthy oligarchs that were interfering making 3 out of the 7 oligarchs or aka 7.5% of the government purged.

While this happened a massive tsunami happened killing 63 people with an expedition being halted as 3 people were killed by an unknown animal. In this chaos the Expansionist Peoples Party (EPP), a party that advocated for the expansion of the Reddists, arised with a polled average of 12% support within the Reddist population.

In response to the all the events the government decided to speak with the EPP to ask them to stop their main goal of expansionism due to the country's stability crisis but reached an agreement of partial expansionism in a policy of appeasement.

To address the tsunami, supplies were sent to help recovery that seemed to go well.

The start of the Blugish rebellion

The Reddist government was always instable, the addition of a rouge oligarch who did not believe in the government system and wanting a new system of rule caught government by surprise. They immediately ordered an execution of the oligarch. However, at the same time a new cause rose from the ashes known as the Blugish revolution that striven for a separate governance of the southern regions of the Reddist nation. The movement before was pretty small and insignificant before the joining of the rouge oligarch who is now known as the founding father of the blugish movement.

A plan was coordinated to fight the revolution that engulfed a considerable amount of the nation. A military task force crucially focused on a combined strategy of defensive and aggressive tatics that are ridiculed now due to their perceived naive strategy. A smarter decision however was set up by Rainbow Lolcat to build the world's first fleet to attack the Blugish forces.

However, the Blugish revolution grew more despite the government's efforts creating more pockets of resistance against the central government.

Finally at the treaty of Lucasian, a narrow majority in the government officially recognized the Blugish state.
